This stunning antique small bowl is an absolute eye-catcher. With its vibrant coral red color, detailed Oriental Chinoiserie motif (pagoda, figures, and blossoms), and refined gold details.
This is an authentic piece of history over a century old! The bowl is marked on the underside with the original green factory stamp of "Prov. Saxe" (Provinz Sachsen) with the letters E.S. This stands for the renowned German porcelain manufacturer Erdmann Schlegelmilch and dates this object to around the period 1900-1920.
The design is situated precisely at the fascinating intersection of Jugendstil and early Art Deco. The bowl stands on four elegant feet, creating a rich and luxurious appearance.
