Beautiful antique chest of drawers, presumably from the 1920s or 1930s. A characterful piece of furniture with a warm wood color, fine panel details, original wooden knobs, and a solid white marble top. A timeless piece that looks stunning in both classic and modern interiors. The chest has seven drawers (3 small and 4 large), allowing for surprisingly ample storage. The drawers are not fixed, which is a good indication that the cabinet's construction is still solid and of high quality. The marble top measures 116 × 63 cm. Unfortunately, the top is broken into two parts, approximately two-thirds of the way along its length. The break is clean, and the parts fit together well. Due to the weight of the marble, the pieces remain neatly in place and hardly shift. The marble has a few scratches and signs of wear, fitting for its age. The back is finished somewhat more roughly. The woodwork also shows normal signs of wear befitting a piece of furniture nearly a century old. Unfortunately, one original wooden knob is missing. We are still looking for an exact replacement. Similar knobs are available.
