Superb antique tall plant stand/pedestal in solid wood (oak or chestnut), a magnificent example of Breton folk art (late 19th/early 20th century).
It features typical and highly refined carving in friezes and spindle wheels.
This stand has been thoroughly cleaned, sanded, treated, and repaired in the workshop, then waxed to preserve the wood's natural beauty.
It measures 112 cm high and 33 cm wide at the base.
The top shelf, decorated with a pretty flower, measures 32 x 32 cm, and the bottom shelf measures 29 x 29 cm at a height of 26 cm.
