For the connoisseur of Victorian earthenware with character: an extensive, marked set of rare "Black Basalt" stoneware.
This set was manufactured by the renowned English manufacturer F. & G. Woolliscroft of Staffordshire.
The set features beautifully detailed relief with floral motifs and classic panels. The set consists of:
A large coffee pot/teapot with lid.
A sugar bowl with lid.
A small milk jug.
A matching serving dish.
Condition: Please note, this set is a genuine antique utensil and shows clear signs of age. There are cracks in the dish and various damages/chips to the edges and decorations (see photos). The set is therefore offered "as is", ideal as a decorative still life or for the collector who appreciates the historical value of Woolliscroft despite the imperfections. Mark: FGW (F. & G.
