Iconic modular sofa designed by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia in 1969, produced during the formative years of the company that later became B&B Italia — one of the most influential names in contemporary Italian design.
The Amanta system is considered one of the earliest truly modular seating concepts. Its independent upholstered blocks allow for endless configurations, reflecting the radical spirit of late 1960s design and Bellini’s forward-thinking approach to form and function.
This set consists of three original modules, all in original vintage upholstery featuring the expressive floral print typical of the period.
