Description:
A very comfortable armchair with footstool in a modern design. Ergonomic sliding-sliding movement of the seat and backrest unit, infinitely adjustable backrest, locking mechanism with rotating chrome-plated handle; seat unit with round ventilation openings on the underside; headrest adjustable in 7 click positions; leather cover with high-quality topstitching and bright contrasting thread; solid, form-glued shell, veneered; base frame made of solid, high-gloss chrome-plated flat steel, leg ends with flat plates with integrated, replaceable plastic floor protectors.

The brothers Otto and Mindor Hjellegjerde from the fjord settlement of Sykkylven in the district of Møre og Romsdal started a modest furniture production in their own cellar back in 1941. Over the years, the cellar had to be constantly expanded to make room for the ever-increasing production. In 1946, the third brother, Ingvald, joined the family business. With great commitment and an immense creative drive, the trio grew the company into one of Norway's largest furniture groups, which played a decisive role in shaping the development of the Norwegian furniture industry. Since the start of production, Hjellegjerde has undergone a continuous process of change - from a small family business to a listed company with a marketing area that now spans three continents. Fine, soft full-grain nappa leather, dyed through in the barrel, lightly pigmented (semi-aniline), hard-wearing yet soft and supple; solid, form-glued plywood, veneered with top layer; high-gloss chrome-plated steel.

Deep black / oak, brown
Info: The photos have been exposed so that the 1a condition can be seen in detail! Colors are generally brighter as a result. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

Approx. width: 85cm; depth: cm; height: 104cm; seat height: 47cm; seat depth: 50cm (factory specifications).
Condition:
The furniture is technically and visually in an impeccable, very good and as new condition. It is very well cared for and has only very minor signs of use. The leather cover has no stains, scratches, tears or holes and is completely odorless. The frame also looks like new, you have to get very close to discover anything. No comparison to the usual stained and scratched armchairs from years of use! Simply top!
