Product description
The CH401 Airport Chair, designed in 1958 by Hans J. Wegner, is manufactured by Carl Hansen & Son.
The iconic "Airport" lounge chair is a timeless example of Danish design, perfectly balancing simplicity and sturdiness. Originally designed for Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen.
Handcrafted on a beechwood frame with stainless steel legs and sides and aluminum details. The upholstery is in cognac-colored leather.
The gently sloping seat and backrest enhance comfort and make this a beautiful design from the Danish mid-century modern period.
The chair, frame, and leather are in very good condition, with some minor signs of wear. Marked on the bottom of the chair.
