3 Beautiful resort chairs by Friso Kramer, commissioned by Ahrend de Cirkel with original black skai leather upholstery. Made in the 1960s. Metal frame. The 3 chairs are in very good condition considering their age, with normal signs of use/wear. On 1 chair is on the armrest a wear spot in the skai visible.
In the Netherlands, Friso Kramer belongs to the first generation of industrial designers. Apart from Ahrend, he has also worked for Auping and Wikhahn, among others.
I also have a fourth one with slightly different black leather upholstery. The difference is that the leather has a very slightly perforated structure. Not visible from a distance, so should you be interested, we can talk about selling 4 items.
Always stood in the office at a meeting table with little to no use. Seat still fully padded and comfortable. Leather in very good condition (except for one small spot, as mentioned, detail in photos.).
On 1 chair, the leather on the front of the armrest is slightly damaged, so it is not 100% clean anymore. The leather is otherwise flawless and even. No scuffs, etc. Little used.
