Beautiful pair of Model 925 easy chairs designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Cassina, 1966.
Crafted in solid ash wood, and with the original cognac leather upholstery, these chairs highlight the Scarpa’s architectural approach to furniture design. The square frame features refined joinery and characteristic cut-outs, while the curved seat and backrest create a striking contrast in form. Inspired by a 1943 sketch by Carlo Scarpa, this model connects two generations of Italian design history.
The leather has developed a light and attractive patina, adding depth and character to them. Both chairs remain marked with the original Cassina label, underscoring their authenticity.
