The Acerbis Sheraton Sideboard is a design by Giotto Stoppino & Lodovico Acerbis. This design originated in 1977 and can be seen as an icon. The design was the winner of the Compasso d'Or in 1979 and is now part of the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. This timeless classic possesses the perfect combination of streamlined forms and innovative functionality. A protruding top on either side and short, slender legs make the design airy and elegant. In addition, the large doors of the sideboard accentuate the groundbreaking design of the Sheraton Sideboard. Thanks to an innovative sliding and hinge system, the sideboard's doors are easy to open and close. This makes the Sheraton innovative and unique. The Sheraton sideboard has retained its original design since 1977, but it has now been enhanced with new finishes and color variations that underscore the cabinet's value without losing sight of its essence. Six new contemporary colors have been added to the palette. In each color, both doors and the top will be finished in a high-gloss lacquer. The cabinet—consisting of three compartments—will be finished with a matte lacquer in the same color. The interior, bottom panels, and the integrated drawer will be finished in a dark-stained walnut veneer. The design is standardly crafted from chrome-plated metal and equipped with one drawer and three transparent glass shelves.
