A rare early 18th-century Dutch chinoiserie cabinet, circa 1700-1740, executed in a deep black color and richly decorated with fine hand-painted gilded chinoiserie scenes. The cabinet stands on the original plinth and features a beautiful, aged patina that reflects its authentic age and character.
The interior features two drawers, while the lower section has an external drawer. This offers practical storage space while preserving the traditional construction of early Dutch cabinets. The back panel has been renewed, guaranteeing structural stability. The cabinet displays signs of use consistent with an age of more than three centuries, which enhances its authentic antique appearance.
