This is a set of eight 'Gyllen' wall lamps, designed by Julia Treutiger for Ikea in the late 1990s. The collection is a notable example of Ikea's more artistic and expressive collaborations, capturing the vibrant spirit of Postmodern design from that era. Price is per piece. All lamp are complete, though 1 back piece is not on the pictures. Their colourful and graphic quality makes them a strong fit for interiors with a Postmodern, Memphis, or eclectic design sensibility, where they can be arranged in a group to create a compelling wall feature. The lamps feature rectangular panels of textured glass, each decorated with an abstract pattern of horizontal stripes. The multi-coloured design incorporates shades of yellow, blue, pink, brown, and green, creating a visual effect reminiscent of a layered landscape. The granular texture of the glass diffuses the light, producing a warm and atmospheric glow. Each lamp consists of a glass panel and its corresponding metal wall fixture, complete with wiring. This complete set of eight lamps is preserved in good vintage condition, showing character consistent with their age.
