Set of sphere speakers designed by David Sykes
Extremely rare and no other pair known
In the second photo, Francis Elliot displays the stereo set at the 'Here Tomorrow' prototypes exhibition at the Design Centre, Haymarket, London, 1970.
Diameter: 64 cm
Inside the sphere is a 27 cm Altoparlante Hi-Fi speaker, which produces good sound.
Material: fiberglass. The sphere is internally weighted.
Condition: both speakers show normal signs of use. The cable was replaced in the past.
