70s ME Marbach Leuchten ‘ice glass’ acrylic pendant lamp with chrome suspension
In this 70s pendant lamp by ME Marbach Leuchten, a striking combination of playful and chic elements comes together. A true eye-catcher reminiscent of the playful designs from the Space Age period.
The lamp features an inner core of faceted glass surrounded by beautiful round, cannoli-shaped acrylic sections. Because of the faceting applied to the glass, the light is distributed beautifully, and the play of light interacts with the space. Additionally, the suspension is made of chromed metal, which adds just that extra chic touch to the lamp.
Marbach Leuchten, a German manufacturer, was known for its experimental designs using plastic and glass in the 1960s and 70s. Their lamps combine functionality with a playful, futuristic aesthetic.
The lamp is in good vintage condition and comes with a new LED bulb. Dimensions:
