This striking coffee set was designed by Pino Spagnolo for the Italian manufacturer Sicart in the 1970s. The design is characterized by its distinctive shape and the vibrant color scheme typical of Italian design from that period.
The set is crafted from high-quality ceramic and finished in a bright, glossy yellow glaze. The collection consists of a coffee pot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, a milk jug, and six cups and saucers. The pieces bear the original Sicart brand sticker and are marked 'Italy' on the underside. The robust, rounded handles and the sleek cylindrical shapes reflect the progressive aesthetics of the era.
