This is the rare vintage Leolux Fiabo series (also known by model number 04911), designed by Hugo de Zeeuw for Leolux.
The Leolux Fiabo series was designed and produced in the 1980s. Most examples of this specific postmodern design were built between 1982 and 1989.
The Frame: The Fiabo is characterized by the sleek, cubist outer edges of the armrests that extend directly to the floor. This gives the furniture its distinctive, architectural 70s/80s look.
The Leolux Fiabo is a perfect example of postmodern Dutch design. Because the cushions are thick and inviting, while the frame remains very compact and cubist, the set does not visually take up too much space. The combination of this specific series in a complete, 7-piece XL configuration makes it a unique item for collectors. This is an expensive designer set from the top segment. The dimensions of the club armchairs are indicated under dimensions. The leather is of high quality, albeit somewhat cracked here and there, but that adds to its vintage charm.
