This set of six original DSX dining chairs was designed by the iconic duo Charles and Ray Eames and produced by Herman Miller. The recognizable fiberglass shells bring an authentic piece of American design history directly to the dining area.
The chairs consist of a taupe-colored fiberglass shell resting on a chrome-plated metal H-base, characteristic of the DSX model. What makes this set extra comfortable is the addition of brand-new blue upholstery on the seats. The original Herman Miller production stickers are still visible on the underside of the shells, confirming the provenance and authenticity of these mid-century classics.
The set is in good vintage condition with a characterful patina that betrays its age. The new upholstery provides a fresh contrast to the original shells and the aged chrome.
These chairs come into their own perfectly around a robust wooden dining table or in a sleek, modern workspace. They instantly add warmth and an unmistakable design statement to the interior.
