6 dining chairs purchased in Amsterdam in 1991 by my mother. See receipt for the purchase of 2 extra chairs. Beech plywood seat and backrest on a black lacquered metal frame. Unbranded, but high-quality production, inspired by Memphis-style chairs from the 1980s.
The chairs have been cleaned, the seats and backrests have been sanded and re-lacquered, and the spacers between the backrest and metal frame have been replaced. The chairs are in very good condition. A realistic 8/10, an optimistic 9/10 for their age of 35 years!
Important! A single chair has incorrectly drilled holes on the inner sides. After disassembly, the original holes could no longer be used. This 6th chair is therefore being sold with a 70% discount on the asking price of €100 per chair. Handy as an extra chair, or fixable by filling the holes and painting the backrests.
