Offered is this rare set of 6 Brutalist dining chairs by the solid, iconic Belgian brand De Puydt. This set of solid oiled oak chairs was made in the 1970s. The model is "Rapsodie" and is available with or without armrests. This set without armrests and with a high back is more timeless in design and fits equally well in a sleek modern interior as in a classic setting or amidst Scandinavian design. The curved upper section fits like a puzzle into two uprights that form the back legs, and the modular seats rest on rectangular legs. The chairs still have a beautiful sheen, feel solid, and are of a decent weight. The six chairs are in very neat condition with light signs of use and markings in the wood, consistent with the age and use of this modernist object. Dimensions per chair: H 107 cm, W 40 cm, D 58 cm, seat height 45 cm.
