Product description
The Dutch architect and designer Mart Stam originally designed this revolutionary cantilevered chair in 1926 for the Weissenhofsiedlung in Stuttgart, and it was produced by Thonet. The frame is made of high-quality chrome-plated tubular steel, and the seat and backrest consist of thick, sturdy black saddle leather (harness leather).
This specific vintage set was produced in the 1980s by Fasem in Italy, recognizable by the stamp on the underside. In very good vintage condition.
