The Danish furniture maker Funder-Schmidt & Madsen from Odense (manufacturer) was highly respected for their excellent quality and superior craftsmanship. The renowned designer Erik Buch collaborated with them, and these chairs share many design features of Buch's work. Solid teak frames with carved crossbars and a slightly curved back for extra comfort. The beautiful chairs with a wooden frame and orange upholstery exude warmth.
In good condition, but some signs of wear from the years are visible on the woodwork. The upholstery is new. The seat cushions can be detached from the chair frame.
