Unique minimalist Norwegian seating model 1001 AX designed by Sven Ivar Dysthe for Dokka Møbler in 1960. Dysthe is considered one of the most important furniture designers from Norway.
The 1001 series was first introduced in 1960. This still very nice set was bought in the early 1960s and consists of two armchairs, a three-seater sofa and a coffee table. There is a nice contrast between the materials used: the tubular steel, black leather and rosewood that balance the design nicely.
The original info booklet containing images of the model is included.
The leather, rosewood and stainless steel on the sofa and chairs is in good condition with no tears and/or cracks.
The coffee table has obvious signs of use (see photo) in the table top, the stainless steel is in fine condition.
The set is sold as a whole.
The coffee table has a dent in the middle of the table and at the ends of the table top you can see that the rosewood is damaged / slightly loose in two small spots (see the photo)
