The famous De Sede Ds-1025 sofa is an inventive design from 1974 by Ubald Klug.
The Ds-1025 is a true classic with unprecedented fame within and outside the design world.
In addition to the love for the design from celebrities such as Mick Jagger, Aretha Franklin, and Snoop Dogg, this layered piece of furniture has become a timeless collector's item for the 'laissez-faire living culture' over the years.
Swiss vineyards inspired Klug to create this eccentric sofa. By stacking winding reliefs on a base plate, he recreated a Terrazza—looking like the Swiss landscape—that serves as a comfortable seating landscape.
The ds-1025 consists of separate sofa elements with a terrace-like slope in various widths and depths. These modules can be formed into a comfortable two-seater sofa or function as building blocks for a complete seating landscape. The ds-1025 sofa element is an eye-catcher for any interior and, thanks to its unique design language, comes into its own perfectly in a loft, living room, or studio.
The ds-1025 has a width of 156 centimeters, a height of 70 centimeters, a depth of 91 centimeters, and a standard seat height of 38 centimeters.
The famous ds1025 Terrazza, designed by Ubald Klug, is inspired by the aesthetics of the Pop Art era. The compact elements offer individual design possibilities, from a compact two-seater sofa to a spacious seating landscape. An icon for your home or public space!
These left and right elements match perfectly and have both been professionally reupholstered with beautiful cognac leather of the highest quality! (2 mm thick). The leather is in like-new condition (unused). 10/10!! Price per element: 8995, 2 elements together are possible for 17799.
