Flos Kelvin LED desk lamp — designed by Antonio Citterio & Toan Nguyen. 4 available. The Kelvin is the model with which Flos reinvented the classic pantograph lamp. Citterio and Nguyen took the familiar hinged arm as a starting point and incorporated technology that is invisible from the outside. This technology is located inside the shade. Inside are thirty individual Top LEDs that together form a uniform, glare-free surface — no bright hotspot with dark edges, but even light across your entire workspace. Professional-level color rendering means colors are accurate under this lamp: relevant when drawing, reading, or working with materials. Operation is via the touch dimmer on the shade: a single line, nothing else. This allows for stepless dimming, and there is a separate energy-saving mode that further reduces consumption. The double-adjustable arm allows the lamp to be positioned in virtually any angle, and the head rotates independently so you can direct the light precisely. Everything in high-gloss white, including the square base — a lamp that sits on a desk without dominating it. The design is still in production and won the Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2025.
