Four small bursts of light, united in a set of crystal candlesticks with a free-form and sculptural design typical of the 1970s. The crystal, thick and perfectly transparent, is crafted with fluid forms. Four points rise around the candle like the irregular petals of an open flower. The curves are never quite straight, the material catches the light differently depending on the angle, and the thick bases give these small pieces a surprising presence. One can imagine the four candlesticks aligned in the middle of a long table, nestled between beautiful white dinnerware and a few antique glasses. As evening falls, the flames reflect in the thick crystal and cast a shifting light onto the tablecloth. For a more intimate dinner, two can be placed on the table while the others gently illuminate a console table or a mantelpiece. In a more contemporary interior, they work just as well grouped together on a tray, paired with a few books and a glass vase. Their transparency allows them to blend in anywhere without weighing down the decor. Even without candles, the four united forms compose a beautiful small set of sculptural glass. The four candlesticks have traveled through the decades together and are offered as such, forming a particularly harmonious composition. Height approximately 7-8 cm. Width approximately 7 cm.
