Netherlands is a progressive Dutch family business with a rich history. In 1970 Van der Lande started the company Jami Steel Furniture also known from the Jami chair 110. The production consisted mainly of industrial furniture. Son Sander took over the company from his father in 1989. Before that, he had already gained several years of experience in the company. When Sander van der Lande took over, the company grew rapidly. From mass production, they began to manufacture customer-oriented furniture. In 1998, the well-known design brand Artifort was acquired by the Lande Group. Before that, Artifort had fallen on hard times financially. But under Van der Lande, the company is thriving again. By taking over Artifort, the Lande Group was able to attract a large number of very well-known designers. As a result, it also became a major international player in the furniture industry. Lande Group now has 200 employees at its production sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey and Germany. The chair: The Tripod chair also known as Tripod chair is called a product design or industrial design, What first stands out in an industrial design is the look and feel of a product. In addition, the design should be both aesthetic and practical. Elegance is also a term that fits the Tripod chair, this is due to the fabric i.c.m. the materials. The graceful steel frame is tapered and coated in high-gloss black. Aluminum feet are mounted under the black conical legs. The black frame curves to the backrest. Backrest is attached to the black frame with a triangular aluminum plate. The design of the seat and backrest was also considered during design. The seat "sinks" into the design and the backrest is curved in such a way that it envelops it, so to speak. The seat and back are finished in Pearl Blue finely woven fabric.In short, every detail has been thought of by the designer.
