A vintage Fuga XL Wall light, designed by the Finnish architect Maija Liisa Komulainen for the Dutch manufacturer Raak Amsterdam. This iconic 1960s design is known for its modular, organ pipe-inspired silhouette, a characteristic piece from the Space Age era.
This specific configuration consists of three columns, crafted from brushed aluminum with a warm bronze and copper-colored finish. The total dimensions are 60 cm in height, 29 cm in width, and 11 cm in depth. The inside of each tube is painted white to optimally reflect the light. The lamp is equipped with six E27 sockets, two per tube, providing an atmospheric indirect light effect upwards and downwards.
The modular system of the Fuga series allows for the creation of various compositions by combining or separating the elements. This piece is in very good vintage condition, retaining its original finish and the characteristic appearance that defines Raak's designs.
Due to its sculptural form and warm, indirect glow, this Wall light is a statement piece that fits excellently in a hallway, living room, or office. The design complements interiors in Mid-Century Modern, Dutch Design, or eclectic styles.
