Product description
Set of two designer chairs, model King Costes Aleph, by Philippe Starck (France) for Driade (Italy). A reinterpretation of the Costes chair, the King Costes has larger dimensions and greater sturdiness. The condition is good, with minor signs of wear consistent with age. A few small chips (edge) and stains on the leather.
The dimensions are as follows:

Height: 81 cm (backrest)
Height: 47 cm (seat)
Depth: 56 cm
This model is one of his most famous, originally designed for the Parisian Café Costes. This chair has only three legs, not only for design reasons but also to reduce the chance of waiters tripping while serving. The Costes chair was designed in 1985.
