Set of 2 Löffler Fungo Stools — Ergomatic Seating with ErgoTop
Two Fungo stools from the German company Löffler, upholstered in red knit. At first glance, a cheerful round object; in reality, a fully-fledged ergonomic piece of furniture.
This is due to the patented ErgoTop technology. The seat moves in all directions and follows every movement you make — the effect of a balance ball, but in a shape you can simply place in your living room. Where you become rigid on a regular stool, your back remains active here. The German Association of Back School Teachers recommends this principle without reservation: it strengthens the back muscles, prevents posture problems, and keeps the pelvis upright instead of tilted backward.
The shape does the rest. Wide at the bottom, tapered in the middle, with a round seat that flares out at the top. The knitted surface provides texture and depth where most stools remain flat and anonymous. Light enough to carry under your arm to wherever you need it: at the desk, in a reading nook, or as an extra seat for visitors that doesn't get in the way.
One stool is marked with the Löffler label; the production label dates from December 2011. The label is missing from the other.
