Description:
In the late 1920s, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was commissioned by the Tugendhats to design a villa in Brno (Brünn, Hungary). The budget didn't play a role here - Mies van der Rohe had complete freedom in terms of both the architecture and the interior design. For this villa, Mies van der Rohe then designed, among other things, a cantilever chair in a flat steel and tubular steel version, which later received the name of the city.

A little treasure that you rarely get. The two chairs were stored for more than 2 decades. They are technically and optically in perfect and very good condition and have only very minor signs of wear. Essentially, there are only very light streaks on the horizontal skids from putting your feet down. Due to the construction, these properties appear after a short time. In no way comparable to the usual scratches and quirks of office Brno chairs offered on the web. The leather is top and has no stains, scratches, cracks or holes and is completely odorless. The armrests are like new and do not have the usual quirks and scratches.
