The splendid Camaleonda sofa, designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia in the 1970s, comprises two 90x90 cm modules. This iconic model represents a masterpiece of Italian design, recognizable for its generous forms and craftsmanship that creates a soft, sculptural effect.
The set has been professionally restored: the padding has been partially replaced for greater comfort and support, the Dacron fibrefill has been renewed, and the upholstery has been reupholstered in a luxurious JAB velvet-chenille fabric in shades of white and ivory. The fabric recalls the materials used by Dino Gavina for Studio Simon, lending the sofa a refined and timeless elegance.
Its modular structure allows the individual elements to be combined in multiple configurations, adapting to contemporary spaces or vintage-inspired environments. An authentic piece, an expression of the craftsmanship and creativity of 1970s Italian design.
Excellent condition after restoration. Minor signs of wear consistent with age and the restoration process.
