About the designer:
Florence Margerite Knoll-Bassett was an American architect, interior, and furniture designer who revolutionized interior design from the post-war period to the present day.
Her work was groundbreaking and reflects the perfect balance between functionality and elegance.
As a protagonist of Modernism, her designs and furniture remain trendsetting to this day.
She also gave young designers such as Harry Bertoia, Walter Platner, and Eero Saarinen the opportunity to market their creations. Florence Knoll, who died in 2019 at the age of 102, left behind a spectrum of innovative and refreshing ideas.
