This set of two Montis Loge armchairs, designed by Gerard van den Berg, offers a striking combination of comfort and characteristic Dutch design. The set consists of one red and one black piece, creating a playful and dynamic contrast in the room. They are also available for purchase individually.
Both chairs are fully upholstered in supple leather and rest on the distinctive round, metal disc legs that give the design a floating effect. The deep seat and the flowing lines of the backrest are typical of the postmodern aesthetic of the eighties and nineties, where ergonomics and a distinctive design language go hand in hand.
The armchairs are in good condition with a visible patina that gives the leather a lived-in and authentic look. The construction is sturdy and the seating comfort remains excellent.
