This is a set of two Meridiana desk lamps, designed by the celebrated Austrian-Italian architect and designer Paolo Piva for Stefano Cevoli. Produced in Italy during the 1980s, this pair embodies the geometric purity and functional elegance characteristic of the Postmodern era. The Meridiana model is a well-regarded example of Piva's contribution to lighting design, known for its balanced form and minimalist silhouette. Each lamp is constructed from lacquered metal, presented in a clean, white finish. The design features a stable, hemispherical base that mirrors the form of the adjustable, dome-shaped shade.
