For sale is an original vintage sofa, model Conseta, manufactured by COR, Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany.
The Conseta was designed in 1964 by Friedrich Wilhelm Möller and has been in continuous production ever since — a testament to the timelessness of this design. For over sixty years it has remained one of Germany’s most iconic pieces of furniture. The strength of the Conseta lies in its honesty: clean lines, precise proportions, nothing superfluous. The sofa rests on polished chrome sled legs that give the piece an almost weightless presence in the room. A new configuration of comparable specification retails today at over 6.000 €.
The upholstery is a cream-colored velours of fine quality. The seat cushions are removable and can be cleaned separately. The sofa shows light surface soiling, has never been sat through, and is structurally and formally impeccable. The original COR label is preserved beneath the seat cushions.
