For sale is a large sideboard from the 1960s.
At almost three meters long, it makes a statement.
The grain flows across the entire sideboard. Dark, deep, warm. Uninterrupted, uncompromising. Rosewood. A wood that defies description. That demands to be experienced.
Extensive research has not yielded a definitive identification. The Gras fittings suggest an Austrian or German-speaking cabinetmaker. The legs bear a strong resemblance to the 29A model by Arne Vodder for Sibast. The true maker remains a mystery.
Completely disassembled, sanded, and re-oiled. Missing veneer repairs have been performed with wax.
A sideboard that defines any room. Not just decorated. Defined.
