Fine Art Print — Hotel Kämp, Helsinki, 1950 Kodachrome
The legendary Hotel Kämp in Helsinki, captured on gelatin film during the glory days of the 1930s. Founded by restorer Carl Wilhelm Kämp and opened in 1887, this was Finland's first luxury hotel — and soon became the beating heart of Finnish politics, art, and high society. Sibelius, Mannerheim, the European aristocracy: they all came to Kämp.
This print exudes the elegance of the interwar period: the rich tones of the original gelatin film give the architecture and atmosphere a timeless depth that modern photography cannot match.
