A powerful action shot from the 1982 World Cup, played in the infamous “Group of Death” with Argentina, Brazil, and Italy. In the photo, we see Diego Maradona (Argentina, #10) demanding the ball from two Brazilian star players: Sócrates, captain and midfielder, stands ready to head the ball, while Falcão (#15) joins from the left. The match between Argentina and Brazil on July 2, 1982, was played at the Estadi de Sarrià in Barcelona and ended in a 3-1 victory for Brazil — a match that also saw a red card for Maradona following a foul on João Batista.
