19th-century Fruitwood Commode
Dark patina, finished with a flamed veneer for a rich, dark appearance
Three spacious drawers with decorative brass handles
Tapered legs
The key is purely decorative as the lock no longer works
One leg is slightly angled inwards but has been expertly secured
With the commode, I am including a FREE replica of a winter landscape by Barend Koekoek (1803-1862) from the same period as the commode.
Barend Koekoek's nickname was "the Dutch Prince of winter landscapes"
