Product description
Original Italian coat rack with integrated umbrella stand manufactured by Cazzaro in the 1970s. A distinctive example of Italian Space Age design, the piece combines a tall brown lacquered metal column with polished chrome-plated tubular elements, smoked translucent coat hooks and contrasting black plastic details. The sculptural upper section incorporates multiple circular hooks arranged around a polished chrome central structure, creating a strong geometric composition while providing generous hanging space for coats, jackets and hats. The lower section features an integrated four-position umbrella holder together with a removable black drip tray. The chrome tubular base echoes the geometry of the upper structure and gives the piece a particularly characteristic 1970s futuristic appearance. Multiple components retain the original Cazzaro manufacturer’s mark. With its combination of chrome, deep brown lacquer and smoked translucent elements, this hall stand works particularly well in Space Age, Postmodern and Mid-Century Modern interiors. It is both a functional everyday object and a highly decorative piece of vintage Italian design. The chrome-plated elements have been carefully repolished. Carefully refurbished, minor signs of use and age.
