A stunning example of artisanal Italian craftsmanship from a defining era. This exceptional 1970s sideboard with its powerful, rectilinear design and bold geometric intarsia (wood inlay) of contrasting walnut and other precious woods, this piece strongly evokes the sophisticated brutality and high-end modernism pioneered by design powerhouses like Mobil Girgi and Maxalto during the same decade.
Crafted with substantial solid wood and a meticulously composed checkerboard and linear veneer pattern, the sideboard's texture is tactile and rich. It offers excellent functional storage within, featuring a bank of four smooth-gliding drawers and two flanking cabinets, all with integrated solid wood pulls.
This rare vintage item has been preserved and professionally restored conservativamente, leaving it in beautiful condition with its original rich patina and no major structural flaws. Robust, striking, and ready to be a centerpiece in a curated, globally-influenced home.
