Item: Vintage Pendant Light / Hanging Lamp Design: Brutalism / Mid-Century Modern Manufacturer: Attributed to Honsel Leuchten (Germany) Period: ca. 1960s - 1970s Details: For sale is a true design classic from the 60s/70s. This brutalist pendant lamp impresses with its combination of heavy, hand-worked wrought iron and an exceptional shade made of mouth-blown, textured glass (often referred to as "bubble glass" or "frosted glass"). The frame is adorned with striking ring elements and decorative flourishes typical of the rustic mid-century style. When switched on, the thick glass creates a warm, diffused play of light and a cozy atmosphere. Condition: The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The metal has an authentic patina that emphasizes its character. The glass is undamaged (no cracks or chips).
