Stunning 1960s octagonal wall mirror of fine Spanish craftsmanship. This exquisite piece stands out for its exceptional construction quality: the rear support structure and outer frame are entirely crafted from solid wood segments assembled with vintage corrugated fasteners, a premium feature compared to common mass-produced industrial plywood models.
The frame features an elegant, continuous cobalt blue glass border adorned with rich gold leaf flecks applied to the back of the glass (églomisé technique). The geometric joints and edges are decorated with floral corner rosettes and a refined double beaded trim in gilded wood, showing a beautiful original time-worn patina.
Condition: Great vintage condition overall with bright glass and gilding. The wooden structure is exceptionally solid. There is a vintage chip with paint loss on the dark lacquer of the outer left profile (clearly shown in the detailed photos); the mirror is intentionally offered in its untouched, original condition to preserve its historical charm and authenticity. Comes with its original hanging cord on the back, ready to display.
