A charming mid-century modern round tabouret or accent stool produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. This piece beautifully captures the color sensibility and utilitarian economy of post-war Central European design, featuring a circular padded seat resting on straight, square-profile legs in a clear natural finish. The legs are structurally tied by a minimalist X-form stretcher that provides excellent stability.
The stool is exceptional for retaining its original multi-colored striped fabric, woven with iconic period tones of deep orange, rust red, muted beige, and dark brown.
