This vintage ceiling lamp from the 1960s is a striking example of mid-century lighting design. The design is characterized by a layered construction with a striking contrast between the white and red elements, creating a dynamic visual effect on the ceiling.
The lamp is made of metal and consists of a large white conical shade that effectively reflects the light downwards. A smaller red disc hangs a few centimeters below the socket, shielding the light source and preventing direct view. The narrow slots in this red disc allow subtle light to pass through, contributing to both a decorative effect and ventilation. The original wiring is still present.
The fixture is in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and previous use. The original paint layer has retained its shine and the construction is fully intact, emphasizing the authentic appearance of this 1960s design.
