Designed by Erich Stratmann for the Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten as part of the 'Idee Möbel' range, this sideboard represents a milestone in 1950s furniture design. The dynamic combination of a sliding door and horizontally structured drawers, along with the round flush-mounted handles, demonstrates thoughtful craftsmanship while maintaining a seamless front profile. The carcass in ash veneer, featuring a new off-white HPL coating on top, provides a clean, balanced frame. Carefully refurbished, this piece is in very good vintage condition.
