A 1950s Mid-Century Modern wardrobe in oak veneer, using the herringbone technique typical of the 1930s to 1950s. It combines a functional design with a geometric aesthetic characteristic of the period.
The price is non-negotiable and includes packaging, packing time, and the resources required for careful and proper packing. Please respect this and refrain from sending me requests for a discount via messaging. Thank you.
Chevron (V-shape) pattern: This is the most striking element. The wood veneer is arranged to create an inverted "V" pattern on the doors. This refined decorative technique adds dynamism and texture to the piece.
Clean lines: The side stiles extend slightly beyond the top, creating an elegant and framed silhouette.
Compass or bridge base: The base features arched cutouts (visible in image IMG_4680) typical of the Scandinavian or French modernist style of the post-war period.
This wardrobe consists of a left-hand section with four shelves, each 48 cm wide, 23 cm high, and 43 cm deep. It also includes a module with two drawers, each with a usable surface area of 39 cm wide, 39.5 cm deep, and 10.5 cm high.
The right-hand section is a pull-out hanging rail, 30 cm deep. The usable height is 153 cm, and the width is 46 cm.
The mirror is 54 cm high and 18 cm wide.
This wardrobe is in very good condition despite a few minor imperfections on the back, which have been neatly repaired, and the doors being slightly warped, but these do not affect its functionality.
The lock is functional and comes with its original key.
