This iconic industrial scissor wall light dates to the 1940s, featuring a distinctive extending mechanism. The design is characterised by its functional, utilitarian aesthetic, typical of mid-century industrial lighting.
Constructed from enameled metal, the lamp is finished in the green of that era. The scissor mechanism allows for adjustable reach, making it a highly practical piece. It fold flat against the wall and the lampshade can be angled in all directions, ideal for task lighting. The fixture requires hardwiring, as seen by the exposed wires at the base and has been rewired with an earth wire for security.
