Product description
An original Bauhaus wall light produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s, showcasing the restrained geometry and functional elegance that define the Bauhaus movement.
The fixture features a polished chrome-plated metal construction paired with its original cylindrical cream opaline glass shade, producing a beautifully soft and evenly diffused light. Its understated architectural form makes it equally suitable for bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms, dressing rooms, galleries, or sophisticated contemporary interiors.
Professionally restored with new electrical wiring, the lamp is fully compatible with US electrical standards while preserving its authentic historic character. The chrome has been carefully repolished, retaining a subtle vintage patina. The original glass has one small chip located on the inner rim, completely concealed once installed and not visible during everyday use.
A highly collectible example of pre-war Central European Functionalist lighting and an excellent choice for Bauhaus, Art Deco, and minimalist interiors.
