The LC1 chair, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in the 1920s, is one of the most significant designs in furniture history. A defining feature of the model is the tiltable backrest, which allows for a dynamic seating position. The new seat surface, professionally crafted by a saddler from deep black leather, and the shiny chrome-plated steel tube frame create a fascinating contrast. Armrests made of suspended leather straps emphasize the light, almost floating aesthetic of the construction. A carefully cleaned, timeless piece in good vintage condition.
